Mississippi Burning (1988)

Date watched: June 7

Review: Gene Hackman is always easy to watch. His acting seems to never falter from near flawlessness. It was interesting seeing Willem Dafoe in this earlier role. Frances McDormand is easily my favorite actress, and I just realized this. This is an interesting movie about racism, though a bit stereotypical. What made the movie good was the character performances.

Rating: 8.7
